2nd International Conference of Applied Psychology
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Center for American Studies and the Center for European Studies invite you to participate in the 2nd International Conference of Applied Psychology.
When?
The conference will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
In the event of a high number of presentations, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Saturday, February 1, 2025.
What is the conference about?
The main aim of the conference is to discuss the problems and challenges of broadly understood applied psychology (including clinical psychology and psychotherapy, occupational psychology, educational psychology, forensic psychology, health psychology and neuropsychology).
Proposed (exemplary) thematic areas?
Clinical psychology (diagnosis and therapy of mental disorders, psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions, use of technology in psychotherapy and diagnosis, clinical psychology in children and adolescents; online psychotherapy)
Neuropsychology (neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the brain, neuropsychological tests in patients with brain damage, child neuropsychology and developmental disorders, neuropsychology of aging and neurodegenerative diseases)
Psychology of upbringing, education and professional development
Psychology of work and organizational management in the remote era
Psychology within the criminal justice system
Neurobiology of behavior (neurobiological basis of human and animal behavior, neurochemistry and neuropharmacology in the context of behavior, genetic basis of behavior and personality, brain research using advanced imaging technologies)
Practical applications of cognitive psychology (memory and forgetting, thinking processes and decision-making, language understanding and communication)
Positive psychology and mental well-being
Psychology of sport and recreation
The thematic areas indicated above are examples only - we strongly encourage you to go beyond their framework. Moreover, the presentations may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of science.
We believe in academic freedom. Unusual speeches will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee of the conference.
